Journey
Effective September 1, 2026
Journey is a travel companion made by EnlightenAI. This page says plainly what the app keeps, what it never does, and how to leave with everything. The short version: your trips are yours, nothing is sold, nothing tracks you, and deleting your account takes your trips and their files with it.
Your data is processed only to make the app work, by the infrastructure it runs on: our database and file storage (Supabase), maps and place search (Mapbox, and Google for place search, place details, and transit directions), inbound email handling for forwarded bookings (Resend), the AI provider that powers Awen and reads forwarded booking confirmations (OpenRouter), subscription management (RevenueCat), crash reporting (Sentry), weather for your trip days (Open-Meteo), and destination imagery (Unsplash). Each receives only what its job requires and is required to protect it to at least the standard of this policy. Your data is stored in the United States.
When you talk to Awen or ask it to read a confirmation, that content is sent to an AI model to produce the answer. It is used to answer you, not to advertise to you. If you would rather keep something out of an AI's hands, do not attach it to a chat; everything else in the app works without Awen.
Write to us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or receive a copy. Consent is revoked the same way it was given: stop using a feature, or delete your account. We keep your data only while your account exists.
Journey is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Delete your account in the app under Settings. The deletion runs immediately and removes your account, your trips, and every file that belonged to them from our systems. There is no exit interview and nothing is retained to win you back.
Write to [email protected]. If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
